The new Hamilton RailRoad series takes the American brand right back to its proud roots, to the end of the nineteenth century. That was the time when Hamilton earned the title of ‘The Watch of Railroad Accuracy’, by providing railroad staff and passengers across North America with accurate and reliable pocket watches. The designers of today’s Hamilton RailRoad wristwatches have transformed this proven heritage into contemporary chic. Connecting the past, present and future is an uncompromising commitment to precision to ensure that modern timekeeping stays on the rails. And just to ensure that no wearer loses track of time, a small magnifying glass takes pride of place on the crystal at 3 o’clock sharp.

Housed in a stainless steel black PVD case that measures 46mm, this new model is from Hamilton’s newest collection, the RailRoad. Movement is the automatic Valgranges A07-211 with chronograph complication. The crystal is sapphire and it is water resistant to 100 meters.

Other models in the collection include a 44mm and 38mm time only models. The 44mm version is powered by the new ETA caliber A07-511 and the 38mm version is equipped with the venerable automatic ETA caliber 2824

i'm confused- is the SS chrono 46mm? it looks like, from the Hamilton PDF on the RR line, that there is only one chrono and it's not clear if both PVD and SS are available. i'm not a huge fan of PVD and this looks difficult to read. i'd def. put it on my list if the SS were available in 46mm (my only Hamilton complaint- too small case size)

I do not believe it is actually available yet. It was announced and premiered at the 2010 Baselworld show. Not available yet as far as I can tell, but probably soon.
