I know that these types of post are redundant but I do value your opinion and would love to hear what you would choose.

I like the look of vintage divers and these 2 just call out. I know that the Zixen is a HK/Chinese case with Swiss movement but I don't know much about H2O. So if anyone has more info on H2O, please chime in.

Appreciate it and looking forward to responses.

Edit for prices: The H2O w/o ss bracelet is $1,040, w/ ss bracelet $1,210

Zixen w/ ss bracelet $1,195

Thank you Mark for the review. Very well done and helped me a lot. So far it looks like the Zixen is more popular.

Thanks Chef.

Couple questions, if you don't mind. Is the H2O made and assembled in Germany? I don't have much info on H2O, just trying to learn more before buying.

If you could spend about $1,200 for a vintage type diver, is there a different brand/model you would get instead? Open to used ones too.

Thank you gentlemen for your input. This decision is going to be hard, but this is the fun part right now!

I do own a Helson Tortuga. Love it. For some reason I'm just drawn to this type of case (vintage 70'sish style). I guess with this purchase I'm looking to step up in quality.

Nice watches Mark. Yes have definitely looked at the BS300 and the Doxas. If I can somehow luck out and find either used at my price point I would pull the trigger immediately. I have a 7.5" wrist so I think they both would look nice.

Now to keep checking watchrecon and hope!

Thanks for the suggestion Caddymon. The Perrelet is a great watch but for this buy I'm looking for a '70ish style dive case. If you know of something along that line please suggest.

have you considered a Fortis Marinemaster compressor? The vintage pieces are great and reasonably priced.
Now why did you have to go and suggest a different watch Mark?!? ; )

This watch is incredible! Look at the dome on that thing. On that bracelet it just sings to me. Now, I have to look hard to get a used one at the right price.

Thanks for the suggestion. Never heard of this brand before. That's why I love this forum, learn something new every time.

The Stowa Above(dont like the non oem braclet) is an awesome watch, especially for $1000 new.

Better image of the Stowa on its original bracelet.

Indeed awesome watch. Do you know what model this is? Definitely have to consider this one if it's $1,000 new.

Thanks

Found it on the Stowa site. The Prodiver. Looks like available for shipping at end of July.

As always thank you gentlemen!
