I went fishing this morning. ( I know what's new LOL) Through all the wind and rain. Well I was there for only 3 hours and caught 35 fish. 3 of them at least over 20 inches. Here are some pics.

Thanks for looking.

No I fish a catch and release pond here in the downtown area. I only cook em when I'm in the mountains and they are pan size (8-10 inchers)

I have not fished in years. I always did the catch and release, for the fish I caught. I remember my nephew Stanley was probably 5 or 6 years old when he caught his first fish. A small blue Gill. I told himto put it back in the water and let it go. He than tried to put the fish in his pocket saying he is going to take it home and put it in a tank, :lol! Luckily, in the nick of time, I talked him into releasing it and it swam away. ....Bob

LOL That what my daughter wanted to do the last time I took her fishing with me. She wanted to keep the fish and the ducks as pets. LOL

Bro is there a limit on size and how many you can keep? I know some states have limits

This pond is catch and release only. There are the quality waters They have to be over 16inches, flies and lures only. and you can only keep one or two depending where you are fishing. then there are the bait waters where the bag limit is 7 fish over 8 inches.

Great Pics Den....I use to love fishing for Rainbows in New Mexico. Brings back a lot of really good memories of when I was a kid.

When I was a kid my family only went on vacations when my dad wasgoing to a shooting match in Capitan, NM...a few miles from Ruidoso, NM.... more like 30 or so I guess. At that time they also had a big high power range in Ruidoso too...so which ever place the matches were...we stayed in the same cabin near the little stream in Ruidoso. I use to get up with my dad at 4am, and head off to the stream to go fishing after a quick bowl of cereal. Most of the time I had my limit of small Rainbows (7 if I remember right)....14 -16 inches...by the time my brothers woke up. I would clean them and have them in a plastic bag in the fridge...ready for my mom to cook for dinner for us that night. My younger brothers would then beg me to go with them so they could catch some also...and most of the time I would go help my youngest brother...cause he wasn't a PIA like my brother 2 years younger than me!!!

Thanks for the memories Den!!!!
