This is the new version of it, and falls under Seiko's international Prospex line. They have added Prospex branding to many older models including some solar, kinetic, and autos.
Enjoy, you have a great model.

Raising the retail price was probably not the main goal, as new and rebranded models usually retail higher than models they were replacing. Also, with the current value of the Yen, they may have raised prices for export models to help make up for it.I had the exact same watch last year. No prospex logo on the dial as this watch and it's brothers were not positioned as prospex? Could this be an updated version and Seiko put the X there to raise the retail?

The funny thing is even on Seiko's Prospex website, they still use an image with the old dial.To those who are still following, I got an email back from Jomashop, quicker than I expected to, asking what the exact issue was. I told the agent the issue and I am now waiting on a response. I know Ganson already made this very clear and everyone that posted also assured the issue, but I want to see what response they might give me...
Yep, you can go to "Watchfreeks.com" and look for this thread. There is a great picture of the new dial at the top post...er...oh...never mindExactly!
I want to see what they tell me, they're probably going to be confused as hell when they check the Prospex Site.
Ganson, is there any site that shows the new face model? I tried looking for one but couldnt find it ANYWHERE.
