I've been absent for a while. Life, family, work...you all can relate. Wanted to share my latest and definatley my last for quite awhile. I managed to find a private seller in Germany who was incredibly kind, patient, knowledgable, and professional. I freekin LOVE this vintage Heuer Autavia 11630P.
Many of the parts are NOS and it's been relumed. It is by far the most consistent time piece I've owned losing 20/sec every 24 hrs. It hasn't deviated from this in almost a month. Despite the loss I'd consider this very reliable and much appreciated.
The lug gap is very tight but luckily I'm able to wear my preferred style straps, 5 ring Zulu.
Anyway, hope you enjoy. Maybe it will inspire some of you to dip into vintage pieces. There's something special about them and keeping their horology alive.
