I've been absent for a while. Life, family, work...you all can relate. Wanted to share my latest and definatley my last for quite awhile. I managed to find a private seller in Germany who was incredibly kind, patient, knowledgable, and professional. I freekin LOVE this vintage Heuer Autavia 11630P.

Many of the parts are NOS and it's been relumed. It is by far the most consistent time piece I've owned losing 20/sec every 24 hrs. It hasn't deviated from this in almost a month. Despite the loss I'd consider this very reliable and much appreciated.

The lug gap is very tight but luckily I'm able to wear my preferred style straps, 5 ring Zulu.
Anyway, hope you enjoy. Maybe it will inspire some of you to dip into vintage pieces. There's something special about them and keeping their horology alive.

Welcome back and congratulations on that beautiful piece! I've never had the luxury of owning a TAG (yet), but I do have a few vintage pieces in my collection that I absolutely adore.

Looks great Dustin. While I'm not a bracelet guy most times and I know you're a strap guy.,don't think I would have taken it off that BOR bracelet. It just looks fantastic on it. But killer watch and glad you were able to snag it

Hey Dustin, it's awesome to see you back ! Wow what a return too with this Heuer ! Extraordinary sir !!! When you look at this design, and study, and enjoy the case, and dial, you wonder why TAG Heuer doesn't still make them today. I mean they're beautiful, and just beyond cool ! What a find, and what a classic ! ..Check it out on your BOR, and your strap there. Incredible !

Huge congratulations Dustin, and welcome back once again ! :)

Would agree with the many that you both made a fantastic decision in picking this one up, and that the bracelet looks balanced, fitting and made for this piece. But that doesn't mean that we wouldn't want to see your creative side come up with a just as fitting strap to match up with this classic Hueur :amen:! Welcome back! Now gets to letting the creative juices flowing ;)!
