You guys catch wind of the HUGE discounts on Glycine watches at Jomashop? Great for anyone in the market, not so much for anyone trying to sell one though!

After Invicta bought them out they are stained with the "Invicta" mystique of crappy watches.

Better to purchase these watches now (which are solid Swiss watches) being sold for under $300 in some cases, then to wait till Invicta comes out with the "new and improved" Glycine 50mm cased "Grand Venom Subaqua Behemoth" monstrosity fueled with a cheapo Chinese movement.

I'm sure every Russian Mafia member, and every low life gangbanger will be sporting these abominations in the near future.

Invicta makes over 3000 different models every year. More than enough to keep Eyal and the Invicta folks busy. How do you know that they won't just let Glycine do their own thing.
Folks like you should just be happy that IWG saved Glycine from being extinct. And lowered the prices in the process.
Their prices dropped since they now have the taint of Invicta smeared on their brand.
So much hate !!! Those that spent 3k on a Breitling quartz watch please go to the back of the line... :pound:
Invicta isn't the epitome of quality in the watch world, and you know it.

Some of their products aren't bad, but quality control is a crap shoot at whatever back alley operation in Shanghai that pumps out these clunkers.

I have owned a couple of them, not bad for a throw aways, other then that zero!

As far as my Breitling, it's nice to sport a HIGH QUALITY wrist watch on my wrist that is the ultimate high end grab-n-go.

Your Breitling. Much like you hate Invicta's, I hate that watch. I just think that with all of the other automatics in the 3k price range. You could have done SO much better than a gussied up ETA thermo-compensated Super Quartz. But if High quality grab and go is what you wanted. You certainly paid for it. So enjoy it. Not another word.
Although we are both Bulova fans and we both know you could have got the same grab and go high quality performance specifications with a smooth sweeping second hand from a 262kHz for $2850 less
I actually own the Bulova you are talking about, it is a great little watch, but it doesn't look, or feel like a Breitling does, not whatsoever. It is hardly an High Quality Grab-n-Go, just crack open the case and look at the plastic retainer.

I also have quite a stable of affordable automatics, Seiko's Tisell, Borealis, Orients, so I am not a watch snob, in fact probably my most favorite all around brand is Seiko. I also own over ten Eco-Drive/Solar watches, but you don't care for those either.

It seems to be you that have a fixation with prices of watches, being just as much a snob against higher priced one's, and quartz models as some people are against affordable's.
