As a 28 year old in Key West, I've always used a phone as a watch. I've only just started wearing my first constantly on watch. a nice titanium g-shock I found at good will for 3 bucks. Turns out it wasn't broken, just needed some solar charging. So it's kind of nice to be jumping into a movado. This little lady was found at a garage sale here in key west back in the summer. It was in three pieces in an original iphone box. The lady said 2.50$ between her wine sips at 11am. (No judgement here, the watch was a 'from the night before, on the way home still drunk' purchase) Keep the change out of 5$. I've had it for several months sitting in the back of a drawer. I figured a couple hundred dollars in the pocket from eBay. A bit of sticker shock when the super friendly watch fixer gentleman told me it was worth closer to 1500$. I wish I had asked more questions and I'll go back this weekend if need be.

Can you help me pin point a model and a vague value ballpark.

I took some pictures a while back while broken so now the only photos I can take are of a well lit, silent and working beauty.
I was told the innards were solid gold and the Crown has a sapphire in it.
Inside labeling: 6 jewels,V8, swiss, 585 (I think)
Outside:74529884 & 824208, water resistant and Sapphire Crystal 14k
The band is original, says Bentine Calfskin 18R and Movado Swiss 9212

Case: 32mm/ 34mm with crown
4mm thick approx

It seems to resemble this e85 http://www.ebay.ca/itm/MOVADO-SOLID...ISTWATCH-/201133406861?_trksid=p2054897.l4275
and this one
http://www.ebay.com/itm/GENTS-VINTAGE-18k-GOLD-MOVADO-HAND-WIND-MECHANICAL-WRISTWATCH-/330899145644
and this little guy

From what I believe I've deduced is that Gent models have a more even width hands as where the museum has more triangular hands?

I did a quick search over the rules and didn't see anything to linking (i.e. ebay) if I've crossed a rule, please delete this post and I'll repost without links.

Thanks in advanced to those willing to share their time.

Nice pickup, piece looks to be in great shape for it's age.

Have no idea what it's worth, but it's a cool watch
