I've been considering a more conservative dress watch for sometime now, and I think I've narrowed it down to two: The Maurice Lacroix LC6027-SS001-133 and the Frederique Constant FC303SN5B6.

Maury's got a 38mm case, while Freddy's a tad larger at 40mm.

Both are automatic.

Freddy is my choice. Like the larger case size and the Roman numerals

Frederique Constant. It's the larger of the two, and there's just something about the other's dial that I don't care for. I like the more open, clean feel of the FC. Normally I'm not a fan of Roman numerals, but that watch makes them work.

ML for me. I like the splash of color. The dial looks nicer.

Also, it may just be the pics... but to me it looks like it would be harder to read the time on the FC.

Maurice Lacroix would be my choice. Love the 'pie pan' dial with blue indices.
