I've been away from actively buying watches for a little while, and now I just want to buy everything that I see! :lol
That's NOT going to happen . . . but I'm just a "finger slip" away from buying something! LOL
I picked up the GD deal from InvictaShark last week, but that doesn't count as it was a "replacement" for a watch I already owned. I'm also looking to get a Jacques Lemans F1 GMT . . . again to replace a watch that I already owned, but traded about 2 weeks ago.
I really think that I'm AGAINST holding off to get "a grail" (>$1500) as I just don't have that need, sitting at home every day . . . I'd have little chance to wear it as "a grail". However, I don't want to get back into buying "deals" as I've spent almost 2 years doing that.
That last "new" watch that I bought was the Stuhrling Imperial Tourbillon on 11/24/09 (and we know what happened to that). Prior to that, a Renato Beast Dual-Time, back on 10/23/09 (which I traded about 2 weeks ago). Even the SAIII on rubber that I bought on 6/27/09 and the SAIII 7751 that I bought on 4/17/09 are now traded! This leaves the 3 SAS 7750s and the Philip Swan Power Reserve, as my remaining "new" purchases in 2009 (which all 4 watches were defective). Everything else that I have has been receive in trade or as a "gift".
God, I want to buy something!
