I loved that show. It was #2 for me behind Cheers, especially the ones with Coach!

I liked "The Cosby Show", but that's probably because my parents wouldn't let me watch most of the others Ha Ha LOL!! I'm from Utah remember. Very sheltered Ha Ha LOL!!!

Ya know, I forgot about coach...I feel bad, he was awesome! I guess towards the end when they were miking it, it got so bad I quit watching.

Was Mash in the 80's ?...I was crazy about that show, it was smart & funny, they showed me how much fun it can be to mock others and to this day, in reruns, whenever I see Frank Burns, I want to kick his ass.

Actually Duchess, being a HUGE M*A*S*H fan I know the answer to your question. It started in the early 70's and went thru the early 80's. Actually it was from 1972-1983. I watch this show WHENEVER it's on and I have seen every episode multiple times. Can it be on this poll, probably because it was on for three years in the 80's but I would say it was primarily a 70's TV show. That really scares me because I clearly remember watching it with the family in the 70's and that makes me old!

I remember watching this and I remember actually getting misty eyed. I really love this show. I was funny as hell one minute and then can be serious as a heart attack in the next second. You got all the emotions every 30 minutes.

This started during the Vietnam War and was actually intended as a veiled statement against the war at the time. If you notice, Hawkeye and many of the characters are vehemently against the war and that was intended to be a message about Vietnam. I could get on my soapbox about this but I won't, I'll let it go.:wf
