I loved that show. It was #2 for me behind Cheers, especially the ones with Coach!Night Court!! It could be intelligent humor at times....(most of the others were stupid humor or tried teach some moral lesson in a very bad comedic way).

Ya got that right- remember the episode when she flashed Judge Harold T. Stone?night court, Markie Post Yum!
MASH ran from 1973-1982 and forever on TVLand :%:%:%Was Mash in the 80's ?...I was crazy about that show, it was smart & funny, they showed me how much fun it can be to mock others and to this day, in reruns, whenever I see Frank Burns, I want to kick his ass.![]()
Actually Duchess, being a HUGE M*A*S*H fan I know the answer to your question. It started in the early 70's and went thru the early 80's. Actually it was from 1972-1983. I watch this show WHENEVER it's on and I have seen every episode multiple times. Can it be on this poll, probably because it was on for three years in the 80's but I would say it was primarily a 70's TV show. That really scares me because I clearly remember watching it with the family in the 70's and that makes me old!Was Mash in the 80's ?...I was crazy about that show, it was smart & funny, they showed me how much fun it can be to mock others and to this day, in reruns, whenever I see Frank Burns, I want to kick his ass.![]()
I remember watching this and I remember actually getting misty eyed. I really love this show. I was funny as hell one minute and then can be serious as a heart attack in the next second. You got all the emotions every 30 minutes.Goodbye, Farewell and Amen is a television movie that served as the 251st and final episode of the M*A*S*H television series. Closing out the series' eleventh season, the 2½-hour episode first aired on CBS on Monday, February 28, 1983
