Afternoon all,

I've searched the forum but I can't see that this has been asked before ...

Does anyone have any experience of dealing with swisswatchesdirect.co.uk?

I have stumbled across them via Google and it all seems a little too good to be true.

They are offering a Speedy Pro Co-Axial for almost £1000.00 less than a high street AD, allegedly with an Omega 3 year Warranty. Check it out:

I believe the Co-Axial movement is supposed to come with a 4 year warranty, so it sounds like they may buy up AD excess stock with the warranty ticking (if you'll excuse the pun).

That's a lot of money to save, but I'm understandably a bit nervous. They have a very reassuring and convincing FAQ section that addresses peoples possible concerns:

I suppose as long as anything was bought on a credit card (for fraud protection), there's not much to lose is there?

Would love to get your take on this.

Cheers!

Jams

It looks like the A pusher is depressed in that photo, the subdials are a little close (this could just be me) and there is no accent mark over the "E" in TACHYMETRE. These things could just be me though. Also, know that the 3313 (the movement this uses) does not have a silicon balance spring, therefore this watch would not have a four year Omega warranty, it would be three I think. But if you look under the picture there is an added 20% tax, landing it around the street AD price. If you aren't sure, don't bite. These pictures on there aren't enough to suffice. Not saying it is fake, but I am not saying I am sure either.
