Decisions

Today I got the urge to replace my Sinn 104 leather (with nylon). I quickly grabbed up two straps for a side by side look see - my initial inclination was the gray/ white one, until I realized it was a 22mm (I needed 20). Getting those pins out to remove the leather was a real bugger.

Back to the storage casket where I retrieved a handfull of 20s, by-passing the Nato's for straight through's. Then I picked them over again, eliminating those with dinky buckles:

Eventually I further narrowed it down to these two. Most fortunately slipping these on/off is simple.

While doing this I had a further complication, I decided to swap the strap out on my wrist (Hamilton Khaki).

Despite what your eyes may perceive, these straps are the same width.

For me, it's the black and red.. let's the watch pop more off the strap... also, black shows less dirt...

Thats the color combo I'm currently wearing - but the watch hands are a pale yellow.
I'd have to go black and red too. How did it look next to the khaki and drab?
I like that leather best.

Any of them would have worked, especially considering how easy they are to switch around. The khaki one was eliminated due to the material (seatbelt soft). I eventually chose the two with stripes - I felt it added a bit of pop.

However nothing is final with nylon (its cheap) - I may yet order something else. Perhaps with a pale yellow stripe.

Oh my goodness, you have an amazing collection natos sir ! o_O:cool:
There are more than we could shake a stick at and you are
right, any one works great ! :D Seriously, any decision ends
up being the right one right?! With each strap making the watch
it’s on look amazing and vice versa. (y)(y)

Fantastic stuff Wrascal, thank you as always for sharing !!!

Now that I look at them again, both straps have their attractive sides, so maybe just swap between the two depending on the weather? :)

That's precisely what I'll be doing, the runner-up is laying on my desk, awaiting my command.

I liked the looks of the original leather but it seemed cheap to me; easily crinkled with just a few days of wear. I have multiple leathers I could use but they're half as thick as the Sinn watch.

Thin field type watches belong on nylon, or rubber (if you like it - I don't). More utilitarian.

Solid desert tan if I had to choose, but the leather is boss in my opinion.

Nice choice Wrascal, it will bring a yellow jacket or a kind of
bumblebee vibe to whatever watch it’s on. 🐝 Fantastic sir !!!

Brushed stainless steel bracelet is the only classic look to this watch.

Thats a nice looking collection there, however on thinner, less elegant watches I prefer the simplicity of nylon. Nylon can quickly (and cheaply) be swapped around.
