Looking for some ideas on brands that won't break the bank, but that build some nice, mechanical watches. I realize that "nice", " decent quality", and "affordable" are very subjective but the words do give you an idea of what I'm after.

I already have a Seiko, Luch, and a Rodina running a Seagull movement so I'm looking for some others. I've looked at the HMTs but I'm not a fan of the styling.

Suggestions?

I'd definitely put the Obris Morgan Explorer II on the list (ask them to send you a mail when they start production again). I'm a fan of Helberg/H2O but I can't estimate if they are affordable or not to you.

Tisell, Borealis, Seiko, Orient, all great, all bang for your buck outstanding.

I have a Seiko Sumo and a Tisell Sub and both for under $400 cannot be beat! The Borealis Estoril is on order, it's $385.
