It’s astonishing that they are from the 70’s, and 80’s like that.
Seriously, they look brand new in every way from this side of the
screen. ..Genuinely is fantastic to see MN, and they must really
be fantastic to ride !

You are too kind! I turned 5 oh this year so kinda of my (past) mid-life crisis toys. I had an 1983 Husky 250 XC as a teenager and loved it.

These are Swedish built bikes that are more rare than their Japanese counter parts. Just garage toys to pull out and cruise the neighborhood. The white 500 has a six speed and will run over 100 mph as it was built for desert racing. Same model bike actually won the Baja 1000 in 1983 via Dan Smith and Dan Ashcroft. Another guy holds the 500cc production world record top speed at 127 mph on one. Pretty cool history.

I can’t think of a nicer way to celebrate the year MN.
And honestly it really sounds like you have been into
motorcycles all of your life. So it’s in no way a mid life
crisis. In fact it sounds like a lifelong passion that you
have there sir. ..I hope you keep on enjoying, or in this
case..riding ! 🏍

And yes, thanks a bunch for all of this history above !
