After so many luxury brands launching curved case watches (Richard Mille, Louis Vuitton, etc), this feature is still SUPER RARE in more affordable watches. I've found Bulova CURV in a more reasonable price range (800-900 USD), but that's basically it (there may be some more out there, I just haven't found any). I've been wondering what do you think about curved case watches? Is it just a luxury hype or really an awesome feature?

Would love some insight from owners about how comfortable it really is. Do you guys think it's worth the extra money or it's just a hype and it will go away sooner or later?

I mean they have to be very comfortable on the wrist that
is for sure. Or at least more comfortable than your average
watches. And although it might be used on luxury watches
for the most part. Just like with other things like tv’s, cars,
computers, phones, the technology, or trend probably will
be seen in more affordable forms, or in this case watches
in time. Or at least one would think so.

Yes, it makes sense that it would feel more comfortable on the wrist. I'm truly curious about trying one at a store before buying but we got to purchase online nowadays.

It's a fair point ant it makes total sense that it will become a design element more frequently seen as time goes by. I guess it raises production costs, I just don't know how much. Maybe that's why we don't see it frequently in non-luxury watches? Brands don't think it's worth the extra cost?

point. Making the cases curved is something different, and not
a cookie cutter design when you think about it. In addition, you can
imagine the brands may not have a ton of experience doing it. But
if we, or as we see curved cases more, would imagine more, and
more watch companies will want to give it a try. ..Which in time will

That's totally a personal opinion, but it may depend on the model. I found a photo of someone wearing a Bulova CURV and it looks good to me, like it naturally wraps the wrist.

Richard Mille, on the other hand, has a very edgy design overall so it might not be for everyone.
