Hello friends.
This is a day full of exciting announcements as we position Watch Freeks to really offer a lot of wonderful things for the members in 2010.

Starting soon this site will have a new Freeky Computer Support section with its own Guru on Duty (G.O.D) moderating the section!

If you have ever had a computer problem and didn't know where to turn? Well look no further. In the spirit of the Secret Angel, the Watch Freaks community is planning on taking care of its own again!

Watch Freaks is excited to announce another new benefit to being a member of our community. Shortly we will have our own computer support area ! Current members who work professionally in the computer field will be donating their time and talents to provide the members with complimentary support for what ever we need in the form of technical support, guidance, or encouragement for our home computers, networks, and/or software (within reason of course).

We are in the final stages of preparation and expect to make further announcements in the next week.

Thank you everyone and happy holidays!

James

I have been struggling with Network issues on the home network, and was going to suggest a computer area. Great news, looking forward to helping folks if I can.
I just fixed my problem 10 minutes ago after two weeks of pulling what little hair I got left out.

I am always using different utilities trying to keep my computers working well. I think we all need some good advice when maintaining our computers. A great idea, looling forward to the new computer support forum. Thanks James. ....Bob

First make sure to to emove the floppy from the envelope, They can be hard to open sometimes but I'm sure you'll manage ( uses scissors if you have to ) and just so you don't lose your Pong game I suggest keeping it on the front of your computer (next to the label that says 386, right next to the turbo button) using the emergency phone number magnet o keep it in place.

This idea is really cool. Everyone can always use a bit of computer tech support. Heck I definitely know my stuff and my desktop, which I built, is down until I pull it apart to figure out why it won't boot up.

BUT did you go with the CTR-24 or the CTR-39 and lock the cassette driver with himem ?and What OS did you use. I heard that the cassettes were flaky in dr. DOS.
