Has anyone ever heard of a watch brand named Clinton?My father retired in the early seventies and they gave him a Clinton automatic watch as part of his service.Ive just now started collecting watches and just got curious about this one.I know its not anything special but i couldnt find anything on the computor about this company or brand.So if anyone has some info they can share it would be appreciated.

They were based in Chicago.

Yes I've owned a few vintage Clinton watches. :)

However, I don't have any info on them.


I still have this vintage Clinton watch box and warranty paper if you'd like it?

I have held onto this case/warranty paper for about 5 years! I came across it and a NOS 1960s Vantage 17-Jewel all for $20 at a flea market in PA.

I guess I figured that I would come across a watch that would fit into it. :)

Bob, I sold that watch about 3 years ago.

I timed it for around 36 hours and it was less than a minutes off. Not bad for a watch that most likely needed a good servicing. :)
