I’d appreciate any help/advice. I have a nice Dieter Rams-inspired Braun AW 20 watch. It’s an original Made in Germany model, circa 1990. I bought it in February 2014 for €185 from TimeDesign in Germany who specialise in selling ‘as new’ old stock.

This Braun however has a habit, every few weeks, of stopping dead, losing several minutes overnight usually. I’ve returned the watch to Germany twice for inspection. The battery has been replaced. After its second return trip to Germany in August TimeDesign replaced the movement, see attached, from a specialist watch repairer, Timo Arnsfeld, in Cologne.

Despite all these repairs this watch STILL stops every so often, usually about every 10 -14 days. So quite untrustworthy.

New battery, new movement… It has always been treated well - no exposure to water, never been dropped, etc. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Thank you!
