View attachment 70586 This picture is not mine it belongs to the seller.
Pulled the trigger on this beauty last night. Been wanting A GMT for quite some time. Selling my Calibre 8700, to make room for it.
I will post pics and impressions when it arrives.

Arrived today so a few quick phone shots, apologies for the quality and the orientation they where the right way around when I uploaded.
Need to get out my camera and take some decent ones, it's to easy with the phone just snap for an instant upload.

First impressions are very good baring the bracelet that had to come straight off. Felt horrible on the wrist and looked very cheap and nasty, I have 3 other Citizen bracelet watches and all are superb. Shame as the watch itself is of a superb build quality and very well finished.
Not a problem though as the Steveo Para looks outstanding, the strap is made from a vintage parachute bag very fitting for a pilots watch.
The case is a mixture of brushed and polished SS.
Top crown operates the internal bezel, and the bottom one is for setting.
I absolutely love the 4 hand movement, also it is a true GMT as in you can see 2 time zones at once or 3 if you use the internal bezel.
Never had a GMT before and this one is already looking like a keeper.
Loving the shape of the hands also the 24 hour hand is just lumed at the top, in the dark it looks as though it is floating.
The date is in quite a small aperture but seems a lot more legible than the others I have with a window.
All in all I am a very happy Citizen customer once again.

Enjoy the rest of your evening fellow Freeks.

Couple of questions, does the watch act like a true GMT where the current hour hand can be advanced without affecting the seconds and minute hands?

What is the model number on this watch, and are they still available new?

Looking at the dial, the outer chapter ring isn't for GMT, but it's a compass, similar to what's on the Seiko Alpinist.

Hi Chazman,

Yes the hour hand can be moved independently without affecting the seconds or minutes, confused me a bit at first it's the first GMT I have owned.
It is a 2 position crown 1st position turn clockwise to set the hour hand and in the reverse direction to quick set the date, second position hacks the time for setting.

Model number BJ7081-51E, I purchased it from Duty Free Island via Ebay I have used them before and they are an outstanding seller, they are based in Hong Kong.
They do still have some available.

You are correct on the outer chapter ring my mistake, regards Gary.

Hi worker, I had mine delivered in a pouch I was not bothered about a box.
It's an option they offer they will ship in a box if you want it costs a little extra.

What's the lug width on this watch? The specs show it's a huge watch, 49mm, does it weigh a lot?

Can't believe it took me so long to click on it. Didn't think I'd like this watch so much from just the title. Great looking beauty you got there. Love thinks crown. Very nicely executed dial. What's not to like ? Wow ! Love it !

It's 22mm, I did not wear it on it's stock stainless steel bracelet as I did not like it and swapped it for a canvas and leather. I didn't weigh it on it's bracelet but it didn't feel too heavy, my Zilla is a lot heavier. Wears very well on the canvas and leather hope this helps. Gary.

This one is so impressive Desk ! :smile-thumb: Not only is it a GMT, but it's a different looking GMT which is neat. It takes a totally different road design wise, and really grabs your attention as soon as you see it. What's great too is how even though it's so different. It looks so classic, as well as refined like the design has been around forever. Think it's amazing ! Wow, and the straps make it even cooler if that's possible ! Keep enjoying dd ! Big congrats to you !
