Looks good Tom but personally I pretty much prefer Quartz as to me the purpose of a watch is accurate time keeping and I have never owned a mechanical watch that came close to the accuracy routinely delivered by virtually all Quartz watches. If you luck out you may get a mechanical automatic watch with close to quartz accuracy but they seem to be quite scarce and getting one is a matter of chance based on posts I have seen.

 

I totally understand Astro, but I guess the Tsuyosa line is geared more to
or toward the automatic movement fan. ..Although, I am not sure if perhaps
they do have some Eco-Drive versions. Thankfully Citizen has everyone
covered whether they want quartz, or automatic powered watches.
But, yes, these new Tsuyosa models are for those that might be looking for
something automatic.

I really like the blue dial, but I really don't like gold or two-tone case 'n' bracelet.
Given how popular the first versions have been and all the colours they came in, I think I'll wait and see what comes down the line in the not too distant future.
60 hours of power at this price point is pretty nice.

 

I read you Reg, the two-tone combo is sort of an 80s thing right? So, it's
a love it, or hate kind of thing. As you are saying, the power reserve is very
impressive, and I think the dials are something unique, or at least a nice
addition to a classic design.
