Has anyone heard of? Or had time to check out Circula Watches?

The German brand's newest model is the AquaSport, and just a few of the
details include a 39mm pillow cases, 200M WR, sapphire crystals, 120 click
unidirectional rotating sapphire bezels, blue, and gray sunray, and wave,
and line patterns, with SLN coated hands, and markers, rubber straps,
stainless steel bracelets, and mesh bracelets, plus either Caliber STP 1-11,
or ETA 2824 as well.

Have a look...

Mater Horologer, OceanicTime, and Circula with much more for you...

614 Euro for the mechanical chronometer version (incl. VAT and shipping) is quite the offer. In fact, I haven't come across a watch with a mechanical COSC certified movement at that price until now. Change the name, the colour of the dial and bezel, lose the modern crown and I'm in :D

I'm in love with the gray dial, green marker on Milanese Mesh model. Very nice early bird pricing. I may have to look into this a little further after I get home from the job. Just when I thought I was out. They pull me back in... Gee thanks Tom...😉🤣🤯

Do it, forza!
I like that one too, pretty unique look.
I got another one on the way, so I’ll have to be good and sit this one out.
Tempted, though.

Neat aren't they Frans, Forza, and w4tchi?! 🙂 Just are some really nice
looks, along with combinations with these. Then it IS amazing with the
COSC option, and everything like Frans said too. (y)(y) Love just the
whole feel of them. Even the case-backs, as well as straps are fantastic.
What a cool watch, along with brand evidently.

Am so happy that everyone enjoyed them ! ..THX so much for checking
in, and chiming in guys !!!

P.S. Forza, didn't mean to tempt you there honestly sir. 😮

Have a cheap look about them imo.

As Frans suggested, lots to change.

Thanks Tom
Don't mention it Steve, and thank YOU for your two cents !! 🙂😉

You know it's funny, they all look nice to me actually. 😄With the gray
dialed version with orange accents really being a home run. Honestly
has almost a Dan Henry feel to it. 🙂But can see where the various
mixes of design ideas, colors, and everything might be a little bit too
much for a lot of people.

The coolest thing really, is just knowing about another watch company.
Honestly don't really remember talking about this brand before sir.

Thanks once again !!!

After perusing their site and converting Euro's to dollars. The watch I want would be $490. Very reasonable. That would be with the STP 1-11 regulated in 5 positions and the Milanese Mesh strap.
But, as much as I like the watch. I think I'm just infatuated with it. I mean, I've never even heard of the brand until yesterday. So, I took a cold shower and came back to my senses. Considering that I've just bought over a grand worth of Seiko's. I think I'm gonna sit this one out.
However, it is my humble opinion that you would be wasting your money to buy the certified version. They regulate and test ALL of their watches in five different positions before they ship. To me, that is good enough. If you want to pay another buck and a half for a piece of paper. Then have at it Haus...They are very nice pieces. But, sometimes you just got to say no.

IMO, the "beads of rice" bracelet is cheap an makes the watch look cheap. Put it on tropic rubber or mesh and I think it carries itself quite well.
The name is what it is. It's a microbrand. They have every main dial color you could ask for. Flat, straight line or wavy line dial surfaces. The accent colors have retro written all over them. And, who bitches about a freaking crown. I think it looks great with the double knurled surfaces and the accent color in the middle.
The only thing I would even consider crying about would be the poorly done case back. Which most people will never see.
If I didn't just invest a load of money in car parts to do a brake upgrade over the winter. That gray dialed, green accented, Milanese meshed beauty would be on it's way to the States right now... I still have until 11/20 to think about it. Never know. Never say never... 😁

And lets not forget that this microbrand has roots back to 1955. And that they already made this watch back in the 70's.
The AquaSport is basically an updated re-issue.

You know what's nice too Forza, and Trip?!! Is like Forza said, it's a
re-issue, but it's changed up a little, and not 100% a redo. 🙂You
have the name on the dial, as well as the style, but it's a newer take
on an older, or classic style. Then on top of that, there are a bunch
of variations which is nice. With some being a little more wild, and
some being more traditional. (y)

I like that. I guess I’ll toy around for a bit and see if I buy one.
They do have a very interesting history. They used to make their own mechanical 17 jewel movements back in the 70's. They are still making watches today with those NOS movements that were never used.

I wrote them an email last night about my concerns about things like dial material, the indices not lining up properly and choosing something other than a beads of rice bracelet or a quartz watch as my freebie. (I wanted a rubber tropic strap)
They responded in less than 8 hours.

Thank you for your message and interest in the AquaSport.

The complete dial, including the indices is made out of the standard industry material brass metal. What you see is simply the paint.
The photos were taken from prototypes where we had only one per color, so we could not sort out the ones that are not 100% what we do of course in the normal production. So you are right, some of the indices are not fully aligned. But we sort all these faulty components out in our production.

You can of course have two tropics or a mesh if you want to.

All the best
Cornelius

Wow, that is pretty phenomenal on the Swiss movement, and getting back
to you so fast on straps thing Forza huh?! :D

Not only did they answer your questions, but they seemed really really
cool, and cordial. As if you had already been a customer, or something.
Very cool ! Cornelius sounds like a nice guy, and the company
sounds pretty neat too. Really appreciate you sharing this with us sir.
Honestly makes me like their watches even more ! 😄

Well Tom, I want to thank you for introducing me to this brand. I have been emailing back and forth with Cornelius for three days now. As of last night, I felt more than confident to place an order which should arrive right around Xmas. 🎅 Great timing right ? :) I'm very impressed by the company's professionalism and graciousness as they gave me ten euros off for opening an account with them and two extra straps as a promo. Psyched again... 😁 Happy guy.:ROFLMAO: See this thread for details... Thanks again !
