Alright, that is simply wonderful sir ! o_O

Before you showed us your amazing watch that is on the way to you, as
well as that ultra tasty pork pie, and now you show us glimpse into Frans
World !(y)Well let me tell you it is just spectacular to see as well as
get a chance to experience. Thank you so so much !!! ..I mean we are
always sharing our watches every day, and are all honestly like family,
so what better way to share with friends and family than to allow people
in to your home. ..And what a home it is if you don't mind me saying
too Frans !

Just as your pork pie looked as if it could be on the cover of a book, it
is the same with this look at your beautiful home. ;) Honestly, it has
an almost retro feel at times with some of the decor, but then somehow
is almost futuristic as well. ..It's remarkable and yet something else to
be proud of my my friend !

Thanks an absolute bunch for taking us on the tour !!!

Thanks Tom. I thought I'd share something from the more private side of my life. This is my cocoon so to speak. I count my blessings every single day because of this.

You are very very welcome Frans ! :);)

Yes, it is beyond cool of you to want to share this side of you
like this with us. (y)(y) You really are making us feel as if we
are part of your family. And I can’t thank you enough for that !!!

Thanks an absolute ton Frans !!!

It’s a lovely living space. Clean and somewhat Scandinavian in the best way. Good color too, so boring are most folks’ walls.

One criticism (which probably says more about my issues than yours) - pic one and pic two have framed art on the walls. My wife always says people tend to hang things too high. It’s become a thing I look for.

I was taught that in art class at school many moons ago, but just like art itself, it's a personal subjective choice

Any criticism….even in the slightest way, posted in a thread such as this is just tacky
I figured I know Frans well enough that he wouldn’t take offense to my comment. My apologies guys.

I never take offence in these matters as I regard this as personal preference! We all have our own taste. So no harm done at all. I first opted for shades of green but because good wall paint has become horrendously expensive I bought paint from the same brand but the colour with 50% discount ;)

I like your bedroom setup. The widescreen at the foot of the bed in particular. I think that’s what I’m seeing, viewed from my phone. Years ago the missus and I got rid of our bedroom TV (this was horrible low-def/built-in VCR era crap) and she’s reluctant to go back but your setup may alter her “view”, as it were. 😀

Thanks! The widescreen is attached to a TV lift and can be lowered into the enclosure. This is a bespoke cabinet. Not to long ago the steel cable that operates the lift frayed and got stuck so the lift does not operate anymore and I have yet to find a replacement.
