personally I was wearing larger watches for the past few years. 40mm to me just seems to small on my wrist and looks weird. I think with people just getting larger in general, we see the natural progression to larger watches.
for me it really is 47mm and up. It would have to be a very big 44 or 45mm for me to be happy with the watch.
