Ordered the blue dial/no date version earlier today along with a Seafarer II. Both watches have great specs for the price. Ordered their rubber strap first, then used that order number to get 15% off the pre-order of those two watches. The Batial will be my first bronze watch.

That crown just doesn't look good to me. I don't know if it is the placement it the shape with regards to the case.

Big congrats ! I'd get a Seafarer 2 also in blue/orange if I could afford to pay and wait. I think it'll be a huge hit. The case is a proven favorite and I love the turbine bezel on my Orca. I'll be on the prowl when they pop up.

As for the bronze beauty! That should be a knockout piece too. Bronze can be really addicting. I used to love rose accented watches. Bronze is kinda similar but every day of changes a little with the patina. Just sold my only bronze piece to get a CNC'ed bronze Tuna mod soon. I'm a huge fan of offset crowns. This should be killer ! I can foresee you loving it so much that you want to try another bronze piece in future with green dial.

I agree it looks out of place. Should be at the 3 o'clock position IMO

It is an homage of older Anonimo's hence the crown at 4.

I think the issue is, at least from the rendering is the crown shape and how it sticks out from the case compared to the Anonimo's

Also ordered the blue dial with date. Do wish it had black background instead of white on the date complication but for me it's a minor detail! And since I had also ordered the Estoril the 15% discount applied on the Batial. And now the waiting game for both! I really like what Borealis has done as of late and since I already have 2 Seadragons I can attest to the quality over price that this Co. will probably deliver. And though the present renderings (IMHO) don't do it justice, I have no doubt that the Batial will turn out much better than the present renderings would indicate and can't wait to see the pre-production live renderings.
