Thought that it's worth sharing here within the Watch Freeks community the article about this distinctive StarDiver again. It explained more views and choices of the creator. Very interesting to get into. With @AtomicTom

Have a great weekend, everyone.

It certainly is incredibly interesting Chris because the watch doesn't seem
to be like any other dive watch. 😉😀That fact right there grabs your or
rather our attention. But then the fact that it is different yet somehow also
manages to do everything we want a dive watch to do and more is really
impressive I think. 😎I mean the specs are terrific, but it isn't just good,
or cool specs and looks. It really looks to be innovative as well as give
tradition dive watch fans everything the like, or love about dive watches. (y)

Thanks once again for shining a light on these like this !!!
I was ready to purchase both the Mille Mer & the Stardiver. I knew the Stardiver was going to be released soon, so I waited to get a look at it. I had been emailing Bohen many times over details regarding availability of parts, warranty work, if requited & possible service after warranty expired. They do not sell any parts (links, pins, bracelets etc) separably.
This, along with knowing that this is a fairly new company lead me to the conclusion that Bohen isn't for me. Not for two watches that would cost me well over $10k. Too risky.

I had the same worries when I decided to purchase the Mille Mer, but finally all has been great, the quality of the watch is impressive solid and it is incredibly beautiful. I am sure for the commercial reason, they will produce spare parts, they have no choice, otherwise they will loose reputation and after-sale-service requirements . How could you pay over $10K for 2 watches? their acutally official excluding tax price is less than 3K, no? I was lucky to pay the Mille Mer for the very first launching price of less than 2K.

I love this video, the music fascinated me. It will be a fabulous watch. Pretty out of the ordinary. Thanks for sharing!

Both the Mille Mer & Stardiver are 3000 euro each, or 6000 euro for both. When I convert that to my currency, + CC fees, shipping costs (which are ridiculous for a watch(s) at this price) + duty and taxes and brokerage fees, it comes out to more than $10k.
Having communicated with Bohen a half dozen times or more, they made it quite clear that parts will not become available. None. Ever. If an owner with their products needs anything, they must send it back. Rather ballsy from a new company imo.
If they were to decide to make parts available, why have they not done so with the Mille Mer? Beautiful watches, particularly the Mille Mer, but has to be a hard pass from me. Again, too risky.

Hello Roarry, this is Blaise-Dominique, creator of Bohen. Our ambassador, Chris contacted us to introduce this forum to me and I am happy to join this watch passionate community, Chris also asked us about this issue of spare part and warranty that you mentioned here. Probably there were some confusion in emails you exchanged with Bohen before, but I am here to confirm you that we have all the spare parts for our watches upon requirements (not for demands of clients who want to buy our spare parts for other watches or other reasons). We offer 3-year warranty, so we absolutely commit with what we mentioned in warranty terms and conditions. On the contrary, as we are a new company, we are very careful with our products' quality and client service. And even more, we are a family company, our target is to develop it and transform it to my children generation, therefore, our reputation is very very important. Dont hesitate to contact me directly at [email protected] if you have more questions. I will be very happy to respond. (y)🙏

Are you on Bohen's payroll by chance? Seems so.

"this is Blaise-Dominique, creator of Bohen. Our ambassador, Chris..."

I would assume a brand ambassador works for the company, unless the meaning is lost in translation.

Hello Gary, no ambassador works for us for money and we can not finance ambassadors anyway. We are fotunate to have nice watch enthusiats in all over 30 countries worldwide who followed our project from the beginning, who love our philosophy, our watches, bought them and volunteer to support the brand like Chris. I am new to this forum but I could ask if there are other members in this forum (besides Chris) who owned the Mille Mer and are being our ambassadors who could confirm this information. If you are also members of other forums such as Forum a montres, Horlogerie Francophone, La Passion des Monres etc. you will see many Bohen ambbasadors there who are happy to share photos and speak about Bohen.

It seems that they do. Blaise-Dominique is here to speak on behalf of Chris, who so far has yet to chime in again.
Also, as I suspect, to "raise awareness" for his watches. What it really seems to me is that "Brand Ambassadors" tip Bohen off to any less than positive opinions / posts that don't endorse his product in a good light. Unorthodox I'd say.
But this is what has & is going on here. Trying to drum up conversations on his watches by other potential Bohen owners here on WF? Wow.
