While I'm not a fan of the diver type there are a few that do appeal to me. As far as chunky monkeys I got big arms so big watches work for me. Most of mine are 40-42mm and they all feel small on my wrist.
Lucky you! I think there are so much more options for 42mm-44mm watches.

My sweet spot range from 36mm-40mm. Anything bigger would have to have a rather short lug to lug length, say, 44mm-46mm. Got to be picky.

Here is a very informative clip from our friend Marc of LongIslandWatch about picking the right size watch. Size of the case, lug to lug length, style of watch, bezel size all play importance in watch size selection. If one is not sure, best is to try one on in person if all possible.

A very good and informative video. I have a rather odd problem compared to most folks. I pretty much live in my truck and stay on the road all year. So I have to do all my buying online. I can't try on anything until I buy it.

Now I have a newer tractor but I still haul the same stuff. Needless to say, I don't fit in most parking lots lol.

Turn that into a positive! Imagine all the watch shops you can visit along the way! You may have to do a bit of walking though due to parking issues.:biggrin1: Nice rig.

Ever bought a neoprene strap? First one I had was on a gifted watch from my
middle son working for Nokia. Nokia awarded him the Accurist Chrono whose strap is neoprene. Never owned any watch that I never changed rubber strap
for neoprene. D B watch I own came with OEM neoprene strap.
You'll probably remember Accurist is a British watch brand with their spokesman
being comedian and actor John Cleese. Accurist uses Isa 8172 quartz movements

What's next chunky riz?
The Dievas looks good, big too.

I love the Deep Blue Juggers too. That is definitely my cut-off though. 6.75" at the skinny. It's all i could do not to buy a the new Juggernaut last weekend. Still killing me, i'd love the black one with that SW200 auto. i'm holding out for the right stem wind field or pilot; i think.
Thanks!
My sights are set on a Vintage VDB 2017. Its not for everyone I'm sure,
but I can't get enough of it.

Sounds a bit like my uncle's Pete

I think it just has to do with all the emissions BS and computers
they have to put trucks these days. All the systems have to play
nice together or she just doesn't want to run.

The new Freightliners at my last job had all sorts of issues too.
I always would try to run the older tractors so I could avoid the
shoulder as much as possible...

Mine came from the factory with every batt cable lose. Then the problems go on from there. I blame it on the "drunken Texans" (just kidding guys) that built it lol.

Laco is a brand I really like, but then again I love that WWII pilot style face. Something in that Fliegler face I love.
