Man, I like the look of this new model B&R. Unfortunately, you'd have to knock 2 - 3 grand off the price before I could justify it....

I agree but the three hand model could do without 'shoulders protecting the winding crown' i.m.o. Looks in place on the chrono but takes away from the clean, vintage appeal of the three hander.

Lovely watch.
Never quite understood the need for crown guards in general. One would have to be a serious contortionist and hyper flex the wrist to expose the crown to any serious damage and which is protected by the hand and wrist anyway.

Stewie:
How bout I sell all the females in the family on the Marrekesh Morrocco
Slave Market to get enuff cash to buy a B&R?
Local hock shop had what I thot was an authentic B&R for sale. $1,500.
Took a pic of their wannabee B&R and emailed it to a B&R AD. AD said
it was as phony as a $9.00 bill. AD must've thot I was the village idiot?
Shops B&R knock off had a red winding stem and no B&R initials on the
strap. AD sez B&R doesnt sell watches with red crown nor on OEM straps
without the B&R logo.
I offered the shop a deposit and I reckon they surmised I'd take the B&R
to my watch tech.

Really is such a beautiful watch in all it's forms Stewie ! ..Such a fantastic
point though about the price. ..Imagine if this was but a fraction of that price
tag?! Seriously would be amazing, but I guess that's why there are so many
affordable watches, and brands out there ready to fill the void. :)

Still is an eye-catcher, and love how B&R has been adding so many classic
styles into the mix like this lately. Thanks a ton for the look at it !!!
