I had an Autopilot back several years ago that I traded. I really like the watch that I got in the trade, but all too often I find myself missing the Autopilot.

Five years after the trade, my tastes and size preference have changed from 44 to 42 to 40 to sub 40 in which my daily wearer is a 36 and I freeking love it.

Is there any chance at all, in any universe that the Autopilot will get a smaller sibling in the 38 to 40 range? Maybe with a hand wind movement? I think that would be so beyond cool.

As we say in Texas "I jus can't gee and haw with a 36mm watch" (coexist
nuther words)
My 1st watch was a 36mm A11 WW2 Mil Issue. But now 65+ years later
my sweet spot is a bit larger. 44mm.

Hey, why not Gary?! :thumb:

It's a really neat idea, and they already have the larger sizes covered.
So maybe down the road there just could be a 38-40mm Autopilot added
into the mix. Definitely would be fun to see !

Would be fun just to see how the watch might, or might not change
if it was done. ..Either way, it really would be beyond cool sir !

Phenomenal idea, along with topic ! ..Thank you !!!

I'm starting to notice new models shrinking in size over the previous models or similar from the same company. But the overall trend seems to be at least stabilizing if not receding somewhat. I'm small wristed so wasn't super happy to see new releases growing to 44 and 46mm or more. It could happen.
