Anyone have a look at these really cool Autodromo Monoposto Chronographs?

The name Monoposto evidently means single seat. With the whole watch having a cool racing theme. From the gauge-like dial with it's numbers, and markers. To the eye-catching "redline" crystal, that honors mechanics placing tape on the rev counter to monitor the engines limit. With there being red lines on the black, and silver dials versions, and a yellow on the powder blue.

Looks like the watches will be limited to 500, and will have a high polished 43mm stainless steel case, domed sapphire "redline" crystal, 5 ATM WR, exhibition case-backs revealing the Seiko NE88 automatic column wheel chronograph movement, and handmade leather straps made right in the U.S. just to name some of the details guys.

Here is a look...

I think with the automotive elements and styling, these watches should have no problem appealing to the car guy or gear head in just about anyone. The "redline stripe" is a look back to the early days of auto racing and reminiscent of old school road competitions. I think these pieces are lovely and I would seriously consider the beautiful azure dialed one if not for the steep price of admission. It is a limited edition and has some real nice things going for it, the nice Seiko movt. being one, but at $1,800.00, the price is beyond my personal redline for this watch.
