The original Chromebook I bought several years ago is on its last legs, partly due to a couple of drops. I like the very responsive operation of the Chromebook, due in part to the fact that it requires no security software that always seems to gum things up.

The replacement that I've ordered is the Asus Chromebook Flip Convertible, which features an aluminum body, fully hinged keyboard that can swing 360 degrees, and a touch screen. The price is pretty reasonable for some impressive features, $229 for 2 gb of ram or $259 for the 4 gb model on Amazon. Here's a review:

Do you like this more than the chromebook pixel, Chuck?
First of all, Nate, I haven't received the Asus Flip yet, but with Amazon Prime, I should have it by Friday. Secondly, the Chromebook Pixel is much more expensive. The Flip seems to have better features than other Chromebooks in its price range.
