Thanks! Fraidy from Stuhrling just responded me in an email I wrote earlier to this thread that no "non see thru" options are available for the Nemo collection.
I actually noticed that Stuhrling uses very similar dials on many different models. So that dial seemed to be a strategic design decision. From my European standpoint, Stuhrling could add to this dial (which certainly has its fans) a more sportive design in order to attract Europeans (in Europe see thru is in general not perceived well as too many low quality watchmakers overexploitet this design) and more dynamic-design oriented Americans.
I would regard, design-wise, Lucien Piccard as a similar watch, though quality may differ. Yet, as both have this see-thru look, no much variation seems to exist in the market for affordable octagon-shaped mechanical watches.....
