After the relatively successful purchase of the 60s Titoni i decided to press my luck and pick up another vintage watch.
This time it was a 70s bulova sea king automatic.
40mm case size, 22mm lug width.
The leather strap that came with my zelos looks good on it except for the silver buckle, which ill have to replace with an appropriately colored one.
Seems to be running fairly well but there is one thing bothering me...
Weird day/date setting.
Doesnt seem to be a way to quickset the day, and the date is changed not my rotating the crown, but by pushing the crown in and pulling it put again. Pushing and pulling the crown will roll the date over once per pull.
Havent found a way to change the day except by rolling the time over. Very slow going.
Other than that, it wears well. If it weren't for the no quickset on the day part i might actually wear it more often.

Now that is so cool it's not even funny Medic !:coo2l: They just don't
make watches like this anymore. Right?! ..Seriously, the case design
alone is unbelievable, and then you have the epic dial set-up, and that
stunning movement ! :smileyface_hand_cla

Your added Zelos strap is the icing on this incredibly cool cake sir !
..Oh, and the day/date is something you'll get used to. ..Enjoy, and
BIG congrats here on another vintage beauty !!!
