You probably remember seeing the Sea Ranger from Astor + Banks guys.

We got to see the Chicago based company's first divers not too long ago.
Which will have a 40mm stainless steel cases, 300 meter water resistance,
a domed Sapphire crystal, and luminous sapphire GMT diver's bezel. But
now we are seeing not only cool blue, and black dial versions with BGW9
Super-Luminova coated hands, and markers. But also new Polar Edition,
and black PVD S versions too now. All having stainless steel bracelets, and
the Sellita SW200 behind things.

Some pictures for you...

Very nice piece. Love the Cool Blue with the orange second hand. Close second goes to the white dial and gray bezel. Features and dimensions put it around the $500 range IMO. Love the nice thin case with drilled lugs, applied markers, sapphire crystal, luminous sapphire bezel and a movement that has finally gained my trust. Bracelets also look very well done. Great job on this one. Ticks all the boxes for me. Now, if they'd just come down a buck and a half... :biggrin1:

I really do like these, but a future retail price" of $850? Im sorry, im just not seeing this as an $850 watch. My prometheus (with eta 2824 and ceramic bezel insert) was only $550 and it's a fantastically built watch.
I see this as just another micro that thinks throwing in a sellita movement so they can put "swiss made" on the dial automatically makes it a $1k watch.

A lot of modern microbrands are taking the Starbucks approach to watchmaking.
Give it a fancy name and charge double what its worth and people will flock ro buy it.
Call it a limited edition and people will pay triple.

$850 gets you a lot of mainstream swiss watch options.

Think you are really onto something here Forza, and WM !! :clap2::clap2:

Remember when microbrand watches were more of a bang for your
buck option for people?!

They would give you good quality, cool designs, and nice movements
for quite a bit less than known, and established watch brands, and
companies. All for a reasonable price.

Now it seems like you still get all of that, but the prices keep going up,
and up. To the point where it really takes the magic away from the
watches, and microbrand companies in general. Where they start
actually transforming into more expensive watches. Watches that
were originally supposed to be options to more expensive ones from
bigger brands. It's so strange. :(

Nevertheless, like you guys, I still really like these ! :bounce:

THX so much for your thoughts, along with honesty guys !!!
