I just got this Delma Periscope in a trade/sale from a watch buddy. I have not seen a lot of these watches posted on the forums, and I would love to hear what you guys think.
Many people are not familiar with the Delma brand but as I understand it, they are a fully Swiss brand. It has the ETA 2824-2 gold/plated movement

IMO, the quality of this piece is on par with a Perrelet Seacraft I once owned. Not quite as luxurious, but not a stretch either.

The caseback is see-thru, which is a very nice touch and looks fantastic when I wear the watch backwards (kidding)

The clasp is nicely done. Plain, but classy, and clicks shut crisply and solidly. I only wish it had the extra flip-lock safety. And a diver extension would be nice, but I can live without either.

It's clearly a beautiful watch, and very nicely done with perfect fit and finish in every way. I really like the silver/black bezel, and the polished middle link bracelet - very comfortable. The crown is just sufficient IMO, polished with a lightly engraved Delma crown logo, not even worth a picture. Would rather a deeper engravement, if it were up to me. I do like the orange hands with the lume centers, although I do wish the second hand was thicker. Would also prefer a brighter orange color than what they used. I know I probably sound like I'm complaining a lot, but don't we all want to change these things to our liking? It's a really great timepiece all in all. Oh, the lume is 2-tone, and unusual

The one killer for me that may send this one to the chopping block too soon is the large 45.5 mm case size. I used to wear all larger watches, but I have been trending smaller lately, due to my 6.75" wrists...42-43 mm is my new comfort zone. Just said goodbye to my Megalodon....
So...any thoughts? I've heard this watch retails new from Delma for around $1400, but you can get one new on the interweb for around $500-600. They make a white, orange and (killer) yellow version of this watch, and I would trade this one for the yellow in a heartbeat! Anyone have one they want to trade? [emoji6]

The following pics are courtesy of Google photos. It's quite hard to find good pics of the other dial colors.
I do welcome any and all comments, if you're so inclined. Think it's ugly? Don't hold back. Thanks guys!
