Default Where have you traveled?

About 10 years ago my wife and I decided that it's not things that make life worthwhile, it's experiences and so embarked on a plan to see some of the world. We alternate between a big trip and a a smaller "city escape" every year.

So far here's our list.

Scotland: Glasgow, Pitlochery, Inverness, Stonehaven, Edinburgh
England: London, York, Bath, Windermere, Liverpool
Wales: Conwy, Cardiff
Ireland: Dublin, Wicklow
IOM: Douglas, Peel,
France: Paris, Reims, Annecy, Marseille, Aix en-Provence, Avignon
Belgium: Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges
The Netherlands: Amsterdam, Rotterdam.
Austria: Vienna, Innsbruck
Hungary: Budapest
Slovakia: Bratislava
Czech Republic: Prague, Kutna Hora
USA: Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, Orlando

I don't count it. but we've also started to add a week in Bucerias, Mexico every winter.

Where have you traveled?

So far - Viet Nam, Okinawa, Mexico.
But I'm only 68, and may still have a little time.

Forgot the U.S. - From Seattle to N.Y., Anchorage to San Diego.

Me and the Mrs. still have a wish list. (We will leave for a short mid-week vacation to Antwerp the coming week, very relaxing, good eating and shopping).

Cuba;
Hong Kong;
One of the Hawaii islands;
Vienna (perhaps this year);
Surinam (former Dutch colony);
Vietnam.

But that list is endless Life is short so you might as well enjoy it while you can! (With another watch or two ).

Not having been in the military, I've traveled to about 30 of these United States, from Florida to Maine, from Seattle, WA to Joshua Tree, CA to Alaska and Hawaii, and a few places in the flyover states. To Riviera Maya, Quintana Roo, Mexico, To Toronto area, and Vancouver, Canada.

And thanks to Bob Dylan, I’ve stumbled on the side of twelve misty mountains
I’ve walked and I’ve crawled on six crooked highways
I’ve stepped in the middle of seven sad forests
I’ve been out in front of a dozen dead oceans
and I’ve been ten thousand miles in the mouth of a graveyard

I'm from the UK but am currently vacationing in Miami! It's a huge culture shock but I encourage everyone to visit at least once!
