Hi, I am frm Asia. I just saw an unusual yellow dialed watch that seemed to be just printed on paper dial. That started me to become curious about this Oris watch. Maybe a journey into Oris vintage watches

to the forum Orisyellow. Unfortunately about 98.5 percent of the vintage Oris watches out there are fakes. Beware of anything from India. Some guys in the states buy loads of these from India cheap, than sell them in the US because it gives customers easies access and a higher trust factor. Almost all of them are standard Swiss mechanical movements with paper dials.

Welcome to WF.

The story behind this is that it is likely a piece of garbage that has been cobbled together with bits from donor watches. The printed dials are common on these type of watches

Hello Orisyellow, and welcome to WF !

That watch does look cool, but it looks like the guys
really shed a lot of light on it, and watches like it.

It's funny, have often seen those watches, and had
wondered about them. Now we know ! Thanks so
much you guys !!

Hope to see you around OY. Enjoy !
