Default Hi everyone glad to be here I need your help with a 1942 Eterna

I have been researching my 1942 Eterna military.and what I have found so far is that its a pilot watch by the the 2 dots on the hour hand used by pilots as a compass guide and the movement is the big stickler the Eterna 850 ,852.852s were all 15 jewel and what I have in mine is not a 852 series its a 17 jewel .I did find that Eterna did make 853 through 859 but there is no documentation of the assistance of these movements.I can use some help from anyone who have ever seen the movement I have or the other undocumented ones.Thank you very much

Suggest you try a more specialised group like the Eterna forum

I'm with Steve (Reflex) on this one. You'll find more help with a more specialized group of watch freaks. Nice looking watch, and good luck!

Have to agree with everyone about this Paul. ..It might be better
if you talked to some Eterna experts about this issue. Honestly
know you know more about these classics than us !

Still have to say thanks so much for joining up, and welcome
you to WF ! Hope to see you around having fun here !
