Interesting Tom as that three seat, centre steering position was copied years later by McLaren.

So many watches, So little time...

Great eye, and observation Frans !

You as well Black5 !

Honestly, didn't even that, or know about McLaren doing it either.
So thanks so much for the lesson. All of these cars, along with
their histories, and the company's histories are astonishing to
learn about.

Thanks very very much !!

I've actually seen this car IRL.

It used to be on display in their Port Melbourne office.

It was a technology showcase way ahead of it's time, and even had digital displays, a type of climate control, and a small CRT screen mounted in the centre console connected to a rear camera, well before these were available in production cars.
(Although it used a relatively mainstream 4.2l Carburetted V8 mounted behind the 2 seats.)

Body and roof opening structure, (it had no doors) was subsequently borrowed and put into production on the Purvis Eureka, which was itself a licensed version of the UK designed Nova. (Mostly using VW drivetrains and without the technology.)

The Purvis kit cars were made out of fibreglass and the roof had a tendency to flex and to leak horribly...

Oh wow, that is really something Black5 !

You are a extremely fortunate.

I mean honestly just am finding about these, and you have not
only known about them, but have seen them, and know a ton
about them as well it looks like. ..Really is something how far
ahead of their time these evidently were.

It's very similar to watching a sci-fi show, or movie from years
ago, and seeing things that were not developed yet, but would
be many many decades later. It makes this car much more than
just an homage. It makes it extra special, as well as extra cool !!

Thanks a lot for chiming in, and teaching us all about these !
