Default Boston GTG April 5th

I was wondering if anyone from the Boston area will be interested in meeting up for another GTG. We had one last year and met at Joe's American Bar & Grill on Newbury Street. It was a great time with food, drinks, watches, and meeting other fellow members. We can meet there again, or if any one else has any other thoughts and suggestions they are greatly appreciated.

I'm thinking and possibly looking at April 5th as the date. Reply here if you are interested.

Bring your watch collection have a beer or two, and bond with us fellow watch geeks. Hoping to see some familiar faces from last year and some new faces for this year.

Just want to update everyone for our Boston GTG. Joe's has a new policy for reserving large parties and wanted to charge $40.00 a person plus tip so another option was chosen.

We will be meeting at:

Stephanie's On Newbury
190 Newbury St, Boston, MA 02116
(Time 12:30pm on April 5th)

Please reply to this thread or PM me to confirm that you will be in attendance.

I would like to say I can make it but it all depends if we have catering or a party at my restaurant that day. A lot of the times I find out about a party less than a week before and even less than that for a bereavement.

Great. Looks like we got like a good crowd of 12 people or more attending.

So far no parties or catering on the 5th! I have my fingers crossed nothing will pop up.

Bunch of people called over the weekend to book more parties. I'll check tomorrow to see if the fifth is still a go for me.

****REMINDER***

The Boston GTG is this Saturday at 12:30pm at Stephanie's on Newbury. If you are going, please PM me so I can get a final count for the restaurant. Also please bring cash as credit cards will be a big pain for the servers to divide.

Had a great time today. After the meet we hit European Watch really was drawn to a few odd ball watches Ebel, Bvlgari and Asprey. The guys all left from there I decided to go out window shopping further. Found Shinola watches at Neiman Marcus!! It was nice to get a hands on. I also forgot to mention I hit several stores after Mont Blanc, Victorinox, Tiffany, Lord and Taylor, Saks (actually visited a girl I know that works there in the fragrance dept at Saks) Then to Marshall's and Nordstrom Rack. Nordstrom had some nice watches but the prices were higher than online even though they were marked down. Almost bought a Ted Baker Chrono they had a nice Nixon Chrono as well and a pretty decent fossil. Just wasn't really feeling it and I had strict orders from the GF not to buy any watches. The B-Day is coming up so I think she just wants me to give her ideas. Neiman Marcus had a couple other interesting watches by Brera and one other I forgot the name of. I must have walked 5 miles today on a couple bad knees then I made the mistake to pop in my restaurant where they were jammed and hopped into action there just got home. I am beat but company showed up now we are having a few cold ones and playing guitars.
