Default Citizen's Eco-Drive Riiiver

Guys, did you by chance hear about Citizen's Eco-Drive Riiiver?

Scheduled for released this Fall along with Riiiver App. The new watch is
said to go beyond the ordinary concept of a watch, and can “update” your
lifestyle and change the way you live. Expanding what you can do, and the
fun you can have with your watch.

With the watch, you'll evidently be able to connect to a micro-community
service that links not only people, but devices, and services. By connecting
to smartphone's via Bluetooth, and third-party devices and services via Riiiver.

I addition, you have specifications like futuristic 43.2mm stainless steel
cases, 100m WR, AR coated sapphire crystals, neat accented, and textured
dials with colorful hands, and sub-dials. Plus sleek mesh bracelets, along with
Eco-Drive caliber W150 movement also.

Some pictures for you...

Not a bad looking piece the combination of colours work very well on all the varients.
The deal breaker for me would be the fact that the hour and minute hands are exactly the same length, that could get confusing. Mesh bracelets are not for me either I have never seen one that I actually like. I much prefer bracelets with fitted end links, when I wear a bracelet on a watch I don't want to see gaps. It's fine for straps but not for bracelets in my honest opinion.
I will get my coat and head off to the grumpy old man thread.

SeikoLuvR, the third one is really different with that cool green, but
then finish of the watch too. It's some kind of combo ! Really is nice !!!

Really have to give Citizen credit on the look, along with creating so
many versions like you said Gary ! Just is so different, and especially
for a smart, or semi-smartwatch right?!

Oh, and yeah, was thinking about the same size hour, and minute
hand thing. ..It could get confusing like you said. But it looks
almost like an optical illusion in the pics with the way they painted
them. Where the hour hand really does seem longer than the seconds.
It's pretty neat honestly !

The mesh bracelets are a cool twist, but can totally understand
why they may not be for you sir. ..We all have are likes, and
dislikes. That's one of the many things that makes this hobby
so awesome !!!

You are not grumpy, or old !

Just got back into the Eco-Drive scene. But, not for this one. I agree with Chaz. Maybe I'll buy one for my 6 year old granddaughter.
