Default New Citizen Promaster Tough

Has anyone checked out this one from Citizen?

It's the Promaster Tough, and it almost looks to have an INOX personality.
With specifications like a 42mm monocoque stainless steel case ( Has no
case-back), with surface hardening treatment, 200m WR, AR coated sapphire
crystal, black, or green dial choices with lumionous markers, and hands, and
either a stainless steel bracelet, or green, or black Cordura ballistic straps.
With the caliber E168 Eco-Drive movement being underneath things guys.

Have a look...

Wrist Watch Review, and Citizen with a lot more...

Nice watch. A little pricey for a quartz. Id like to see a purely mechanical variant, it's not like they don't have any miyota's laying around.

^^^If it had a mechanical movement they'd most likely have to remove the "tough" from the name.

I've abused mechanical movements for 20 years, but I'm betting this one will hold up better.

I like the centre links on the bracelet - don't really care much for the watch. I don't get the idea of no case back. Don't see the need.

No need to ever open it up I guess... You'd think they could manage a better WR rating with that setup.

Looks near invincible doesn't it guys?! Especially with there being no
case back. ..It just caught my eye, and reminded me of VSA's INOX
a little. Although it doesn't seem to come with the bezel guard bumper
thingamabob with these.

I like it. It looks beefy and nearly indestructible. I really like the different color/Lume on the Hour/Minute hands to make them easier to tell apart ! Nice !

I like the all black model, since I no longer own a black cased watch.

The black coating is actually DLC Super Titanium so the watch will be 5 times more scratch resistant then stainless steel, also the watch comes with a sapphire crystal which also ups the ante on the price.

I plan on picking one up soon, just as soon as I can find a dealer with one is stock so I can check it out first.

200m isn't enough? It isn't a dive watch and the MM300 is only 100m more.
