I think I would go blue borealis rubber. You can either leave the buckle or switch to a pvd purchased buckle. Or bonetto rubber also a good option. That two piece NATO is a also a fine choice.

I went with a carbon fiber with blue stitching and a black pvd deployment buckle from Strappedfortime.

Blue stitched Carbon Fiber

I like NATO's and rubber straps on field watches and dive watches. I wanted to keep this watch looking somewhat dressy yet casual. I'm a teacher, and don't ever really wear a suit and tie, so this watch gets a lot of my wrist time and is almost as dressy as I get. So I can wear it to work or the movies.

It looks and feels great on the new strap. My wife even noticed it the other day and complimented it.

Gary:
Slow down yer roll Bro. If this is your 1st Citizen/Miyota I predict you'll
acquire more.
The Citizen I'm lurking for is the Prima Chrono. Just haven't found one
on the Bay or the Zon that fit's into my disposable income category.
CHEEP!!! Dial on the Primo Chrono has a racing strip and Bad to da Bone.

Default I just got my first Citizen

I have an orange version similar to this one. It's black with orange outline. I went with a gray 2 piece NATO with black and white stripes. I found the watch a Kohl's on clearance. So I tried a few different straps and ended up with this one. It's not my favorite band in it but it works.

Gary:
Victer watches aren't the only company whose Black PVD vanishes!!
Mike Davis wore his missive, "PVD bonded at the molecular level" out
while on shopnbc.com (now Evine) He and Jim Skelton are both gone.

Guess being an online presenter is a short shelf life?

Gary:
I'm awaiting the arrival today or tomorrow of my 4th Citizen
It's the CA0467-11 Primo Chrono from the "Bay"
Already owned 3 as I have stated. Among the 3 is my fave
after 60+ years of watch owning. The EcoZilla.
Primo will have to learn to coexist with Zilla. This box is big
enuff fer both of em.
