White Snake and Motley Crew on the original Girls Girls Girls tour in 87
Seal live in a closed room private show at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC for 400 people.
U2 - Zoo TV Tour in the old Washington Redskins stadium in 1991 - 80,000 people singing and the entire stadium literally rocking up and down. Was amazing

Close but did not make top 3

I saw Boston, on their first night of their tour in in Boston, MA - I think it was 1987
I saw Michael Jackson 2 times (Thriller and Bad) and saw Prince for Purple Rain tour - all were amazing
I have seen Puddle of Mudd at least 4 times. They are a personal favorite of my wife and I, so the concerts are always great.
Sade - seen her 2 times - both amazing
Foo Fighters 2012 - might be the last time they tour and were at the top top of their performing game.

So many.. can't pick just one.. so many fantastic Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia Band, Ratdog and Phil Lesh and Friends shows.. Springsteen's Born in the USA tour, The Who in '89 (Townshend's first windmill about tore the house down), Jimmy Buffett in Charlotte, NC 2 days after Dale Earnhardt was killed at Daytona (very special "Take Another Road" played), every John Prine show I've seen and likewise the half dozen Steely Dan shows..

Hopefully my next concert will rank up there Paul Mccartney on July 19th. I saw George Harrison in the 70's and McCartney with Wings in the 80's.

Righteous Brothers, LA
Greek theatre 1967
However, it was extra great due to a new band that opened the show.
Ramesy Louis Trio.
Blew the place apart. Especially the smoke break.... Two guys leave and the Bass player just goes on a wonderful jazz piece that lasted 20 minutes.
This is the out door theater that Neil Diamond performed Hot August Night
... Wonderful summer night

Man, I've been to a bunch! I have to say the most intense one was Slayer's South of Heaven Tour (I forgot what year it was). I was in 10th grade I believe it was and it was my first mosh pit experience.

It was so hot inside that steam was rising from the crowd!

I've been to many rock concerts and much prefer listening to rock music over anything else but the best music concerts I've been to were motown and Jazz. The best had to be Diana Ross and the Supremes on Long Island, NY a gazillion years ago. She had a few people up on stage singing with them and I was lucky enough to be one of them. I saw many jazz at the zoo concerts in summmers when I lived in Cincinnati, OH and those were all tied for my second favorites (around 30 years ago). They had some really big performers (like Ray Charles) and fun performers (like Randy Newman) and it was just fantastic sitting on the giant lawn there with blankets, tunes, food, wine, and good friends. I loved every one of them.

1980s for all of mine. Ronnie James Dio Last In Line tour, Queensryche Operation: Mindcrime tour and the best was Iron Maiden Powerslave tour. My ears are still shot to this day from the Maiden show.
