Default How to Cerakote

I really like this look, so I figured I’d give it a try. I bought two cheap cool looking vintage pulsar dive watches of the same model off eBay so now I have one for parts if needed. My gun guy, who does beautiful cerakote work has agreed to give it a shot because the places I’ve seen want a ridiculous amount of time and money to do it.
I know the case, case back, and crown all get cerakoted, and in my case, the bezel will too because it’s solid metal with no insert. My question is, do you also cerakote the inside of the case, and the area between the bezel and the watch, on both the bezel and the watch side? And do you cerakote it with the crystal and case back on, or off? I know it’s very thin, but I would think any coating on the threads or in those close tolerance areas might compromise the seals.

Oh wow, this is way beyond me Spikus. Seriously don't know much
about this at all, and don't want to tell you to do something wrong.

Not sure if anyone here has actually had this done before.

Maybe the people who coat the watches could answer the question
by e-mail, or over the phone. ..Then your gun guy could still do the
job with no problem after you get an answer.

Wishing you good luck with all of this. Sounds really cool !
