Question Silicone band recommendatiions

Happy New Year
I got a Citizen Promaster Diver for Christmas. I am not too excited about the band it came with. The original band is comfortable enough but I really like the silicone band that came with another Citizen I have.
What do you guys think of Barton bands and their quick release? Is the quick release prone to accidental opening if the watch is being worn skiing, hiking etc...
Thanks for your input.

A premium strap which I would have absolutely no worries about the quick release system under any circumstances.

Barton is the absolute best for silicone, canvas, and leather with the quick release straps. I own about 12 of them.

You can dress up a watch with a dress leather strap, a sports leather for casual wear and the canvas or silicone for pool time.

I especially love their canvas straps, very comfortable and pool ready!

Thanks for the input. I will give them a shot.
Anyone have experience with any other brands of silicone straps?

One called Alpine on Amazon has some colored stitching that might be a fun way to add a bit of color. Here is a URL t.ly/1wnPL

Another one is Ollrear. Here is a URL t.ly/gdz9J

Am I over thinking this?

Thanks again for the help

I have several pieces with silicone straps
There are a few 1090% leather bands that
I like but given the choice between leather
and silicone I choose silicone. Nicest silicone
I have is on a British Accurist Chrono. Butter
soft.

I received my Barton silicone strap. It was an easy swap, I have worn the watch several times including skiing and so far I don't feel like the quick release is a danger. 'The strap feels great. Makes the watch feel different.

So glad that it all worked out SlowTime, and that you can
really enjoy your Citizen now. Can imagine the new
strap really kicked things up, and maybe even makes the
watch look cooler if that's possible !

Never have had a Barton strap, but always was impressed
just hearing about them, and seeing pictures of them like
above. ..Big congrats there to you !!!
