Default New Zodiac Astrographic L.E.

Just seeing Zodiac's Astrographic L.E. How about you guys?

The new watch helps celebrate the Astrographic's 50th Anniversary with
two new models. One comes in stainless steel, and has a blue dial, and
one has a gold PVD finish with gold dial. With both having mystery dials,
and the rotating discs with floating hands effect. On top of that, you also
have polished, and sunray brushed 40 x 43 cases, sapphire crystals, 100m
WR, neat bracelets, and STP 3-13 underneath it all.

A few pictures for you...

W&W, and Zodiac with even more info guys...

Oh wow, thought you might like these guys.

They honestly look like they are very faithful to the originals, but I guess
the size, and of course movements are the real changes. Always thought
that these were some of the coolest, and most unique UFO case watches

Thought it was fun to see them back.

Want to thank you guys a ton for your thoughts, along with honesty here !!

i love these!
the originals were 40mm case size with 18mm lug width, same as these new ones. (40mmx43mm technically)

they also made a rectangle version that was 35mmx40mm, but the reissue version is much larger at 39mmx45mm.

I realize that these (and the square versioin) are basically reissues of the older designs, but its kinda nice to see something thats NOT just another subby diver.

Looks like a Rado. I'd like the dial more if housed in a lugged case. But I get it wouldn't be as astro-like.

You know what's nice guys?! Is even though they are reissues, they
are still seemingly ahead of their time right?! ..You have the out of this
world case design that you don't see every day, and then amazing dials.
Which must be something to see in person too.

It's incredible that this design is 50 years old, and evidently was created
around the same time as the Moon Landing. Didn't realize that actually.

Thanks so much for your two cents guys !!! Very happy you enjoyed.

You beat me to it, especially the gold toned Diastar! When I was still in my 'Eighties' period (in the well, 1980s ), I hated that watch. But now..... The pinnacle of Seventies gaudy watch design . Scratch resistant to boot.

To wear with your leisure suit, with the cuffs rolled up a bit.
