Default New Zodiac Sea Wolf 68 L.E.

Did anyone catch this new Zodiac already?

This Super Sea Wolf 68 Limited Edition helps celebrate the 50th
Anniversary of the first Sea Wolf. With the watch even having this
vintage Sea Wolf on it's case-back, which was evidently used in
Zodiac's advertising years back.

In addition to that, you have a 44mm stainless steel case, 1000m WR,
sapphire crystal, gray dial with orange accents, and luminous markers,
and hands, COSC certified STP caliber 3-13 automatic, nato, and tropic
style rubber strap, along with mesh bracelet.

Just a few pictures...

Sweet. Make the dial dial a deep black and slap a black bezel on it and I well start to like it even more. The almost 2K MSRP will probably become $1500 or so but it is a niche product. I don't give a hoot about limited editions, that's just to jack up the price. I just wonder what Zodiac thinks the audience for a watch like this will be?

Cool watch but I'm guessing it'll be a super niche audience that are/were a fan of Zodiac. I would have not bothered with the chronometer certificate and knock of a significant amount off the asking price.

That height > width aspect isn't sitting right with me... nice otherwise though...

Roarry, I'd usually be with you on this lug thing; however, I have to say this one has more of an appeal than I thought it would. It kinda looks like it's floating above the strap.
Generally speaking, give me some lugs.

Yeah am with you guys, am remembering not too long ago when Zodiac
was all about affordable watches, but now they have gone off into the
stratosphere with pricing. ..Seems like every watch outdoes the next
too, and the limited edition theme really does compound things even
more !

Still love their watches, but unfortunately only enjoy pictures now.
