I like Rado, 42mm is too big for me, but I’m waiting patiently for the last models to come down in price. There is a smaller size that I have been keeping my eye open for. Someday, this will be in my lineup.

I like 'em Tom, especially the black version. Clean and simple. I won't bitch about the MSRP this time

Rado has always been one of those brands that's been way out there for years... Which is a good thing. But just not for me and my two grand. I'll take a pass on these.

I rather like the design too - a slight resemblance to the Fifty Fathoms imo.
Price wise, there's a lot of other watches that interest me for substantially less $.

Thanks Tom

So happy everyone is enjoying them so much. I know the price is
up there, but it's still great to see what Rado is trying right?!

I mean it's not even Baselworld yet, and they have this new fleet of
watches in multiple sizes, and styles for everyone.

This hobby just keeps getting better, and better, and the year is
just getting started.

P.S. Trip, I wonder if not only Rado, but many of the other watch
companies will offer multiple case sizes more, and more in the
future. Imagine if every watch came in a few different sizes?!

It's something that could, or actually should have been happening
for years when you stop, and think about it.

Thank YOU honestly everybody !!!

Small watches are back in. Invicta is out... Even they're making a lot of small cases now. The last two I've bought from them have been 45's. Never thought I'd see the day...

I went through a short Rado period in the late '90s. The Purple Horse and Green Horse models in particular. I ended up gifting them to my brothers. This one is fine looking but doesn't seem to march to its own Rado drum to me. More like conforming to what is current, not that there's anything wrong with doing so.

Their rotating anchor logo was inventive and I liked it, though in my experience it eventally got stuck in one position.

To be honest, (and sorry for the hijack) I only knew Rado from the Diastar:

Too generic 'jumping on the vintage bandwagon' model? I agree and it could be a start-up micro brand offering. But I still like it

No need to apologize sir. Always loved the cases on these, and how
they kind of had this UFO case meets diver style with them. It’s vintage
feeling, but somehow feels way ahead of it’s time still to this day.

They are too cool Frans !

I love the look of these, but not at 2000 euros.
Even more in USD obviously...
My zodiac super sea wolf looks pretty similar at half the price new.
I would consider one of these if the used market brings it down to half price or less.

Sorry, for north of $2K USD I will take a pass.

The movement is an ETA Powermatic 80, I can get one of those with a True GMT function, including an hour jump hand for 1/3rd the price!

If you are keen on the "Beads of Rice" bracelets, (I am!) you could just slap one on this 500m Bad Boy and have an even sharper looking watch for about $1,110 less out of your pocket!
