Default At the risk of offending my fellow WFs...

I have many Seiko divers, too many really, but I was always on the fence with regard the "tuna can" for years, just wasn't sure I'd wear a shrouded diver. Seemed simply HUGE too. Anyway, I tried one of these awhile back after reading some owner's impressions.

I kept it primarily to myself until recently, but I remain impressed by the quality of this incredibly inexpensive, and controversial to some, Sharkey tuna can "homage".

-Seiko NH35A

-316L stainless case

-Ceramic bezel insert

-Sapphire crystal with AR coating

-SuperLuminova C3 Lume

Everyone hates the silicone dust-attractor strap, yet I feel it's comfy and I dare say I like the look.

Because we're all united in our love of watch photos:

Very well-finished hands. The watch seems to emulate the dial of the 6159-7010 in terms of hands, markers and date-only window.

Sacrilege, how could you?

While I remain pretty much an old fashioned traditionalist when it comes to brands and copies, that one does look attractive and well finished. Enjoy it.

I like that homage, I have looked at that one many times on eBay, as has already been said it does look very well made and finished. The Sharkey 62mas homage also piqued my interest. Enjoy

Enrico:
In fact I'm gaagaa over your Tuna
After Sun Mass a few weeks ago met my ole church watch pal Max.
He was sporting a new Tuna as well (not this iteration tho)
I was wearing my EcoZilla when Max loves too.

What's not to like about a Tuna (and Tunas are good eating too)

The funny thing is that I snuck mine in months ago but it passed almost unnoticed I can attest to the quality and incredible value for money. Unbeatable.

Been meaning to ask... what have you chosen for a strap?

It’s still on the dust magnet I need a replacement soon or an antistatic treatment compound. Please blaze the trail for us

Rub a fabric softener sheet on it? I have done a wee bit of trail blazing and it boils down to the following. In case you can't tell, my wife and girls are out of town and I have time for this minutiae. ;-)

There's the bracelet:

Isofrane style:

Waffle style

Nato

GL831 style

And of course mesh

I like the waffle strap best but want to keep in line with the original. What I recall from those ‘harmonica’ style straps is that they were made from rather stiff plastic and I don’t like that.

The more I see this model, and check out Heimdallr Watches website the harder it is to NOT hit that "order" button... super nice watches, and I trust the folks here on their statements of quality. Damn you enabling freeks!

I have three of their models now an can honestly say that they represent great value for money. Well finished and with simple but reliable Seiko movements. You only have to take their word for the depth ratings, there's no way I can test this.

Whoa, yeah, can see why you are so impressed, and happy
with this Enricosonic !

You have that Tuna feel like you said, but then the cool shark
there both front, and on that incredible case-back to let you
know this is it's own watch.

Really looks like the fit, and finish is on such a high level as
well from your fantastic pics ! ..Wow, enjoy, and big congrats !!!
