The watch lends itself well to both bracelet and rubber

It is one of those watches that does. In my 'early' watch buying days, the kind of metal bracelets like we know them now were something very special. Most watches came on leather straps and sport swatches on rubber. Those bracelets came at a premium but I liked them because of that.

Now I'm almost completely converted to straps although when given the choice I buy my watches with both a strap and matching bracelet.

I just robbed my 6309-7040 of its strap to check it out for myself. It is of course a bit stiffer than that silicone (and this one's over 35 years old), but you'll never complain of dust. And a watch with a Seiko heart beating inside may as well have a Seiko strap, right?

At the current price point I guess why not? I don't know that I've seen a bronze model before. Nice trio.

Kind of hard to do I think? it has the solid case back, I think you have to go into the movement through the crystal side?

Oh, yeah, I didn't think about that. Yeah, not as easy a task! That would be the only way to verify, though. I'd just enjoy it as is!
